With its half-star response system, KickSide is YoYoJam's representative plastic yo-yo.
KickSide is National Yo-Yo Master and Team YoYoJam member Rick Wyatt's signature model. At its core is the Patriot, but made from delrin polycarbonate with a half-star response system. It doesn't have much spinning power, but because of the half-star response and its large size bearing, it provides smoother play and a weaker return response. For greater response, use YoYoJam's thick oil on the bearing.
KickSide's cost-performance is very good, and as it's loaded with the standard large size bearing, it makes a good model for those stepping up their game to more difficult tricks like Brain Twister and Barrel Roll combos.
