The Omnitron is the new signature bimetal model of four time Hong Kong champion (2015-18), Peter Pong Si Yee.
Hometown hero and Hong Kong champion four times over, Peter Pong Si Yee even carved a name for himself by winning the 2012 EYYC open division, and the Omnitron is his second signature model from C3. Many aspects of his original signature have been updated with the concept of improving speed and stability, and so C3 has approached this design in a new way.
Taking the inner rim of the Beserker, the shape is based on the new Seiren model. The addition of a titanium axle serves the concepts of speed and stability, pushing that performance from the inside out.
The biggest characteristic of this yo-yo is the gap between its actual weight and playfeel. Although the bimetal design is light, during play it has a considerable weight to it. While you might think that a heavy yo-yo will have trouble building speed, that is not the case with the Omnitron. Though the design and playfeel is powerful and stable, thanks to its specs it's very responsive to your controls, quickly becoming an extension of your arm. In this way, Omnitron is a similar concept and execution to the P.wave.
The step-round profile gives Omnitron a soft catch, but the design is meant for hard play. You're bound to fall in love with this one!
