Compared to the standard Confection, the A La Mode is considerably wider, and the rim is slightly more rounded. The visual impression is surprisingly different from the feeling you get when you catch the yo-yo. The weight, diameter, and response system of the standard Confection are preserved. The yo-yo comes with a concave, grooved Crucial Bearing 2 (as does the standard Confection).
