T1

T1

onedrop x Toxic String - T1

A portion of the proceeds for this special collaboration yo-yo goes towards research to combat type 1 diabetes.

It's still unusual to see a wide-bodied yo-yo from onedrop, making the T1 an interesting throw from the very start. It may be the diameter and shape that betrays its size, but the T1 is a full 48.4mm wide. At this size, the 66.7 gram weight puts the T1 on the light side, but all we can call its feeling during play is "refreshing!" Not to mention the grooved body which gives the T1 a firm grip you won't want to let go of.

The T1 is a collaboration model between onedrop and Toxic String; a portion of the proceeds goes towards fighting Type 1 diabetes, which Toxic Strings owner Evan Evan's son, Trevan, suffers from. The name of the yo-yo even comes from "Type 1." It's such a shame for such ill fortune to fall upon someone so young (at the time of release, Trevan is only two years old), and onedrop came up with this project to help out in whatever way they can.

The logo on the package is modeled after the insulin shots that diabetes patients get on a daily.
